The NASCAR Busch Grand National series is fielding very closely matched fields this season. A slew of teams have had a shot at winning a race this season and it would not be surprising to see some others show up before season's end.
This is some good racing, if ya get a chance to go to one of their events, grab it. The crowds are not as large and the cost is less than the WC races and the racing is just as good.
Hank Parker Jr. (No. 36 GNC Live Well Dodge), who earned his first win of the season last week at Pikes Peak, became the 13th different race winner through 21 events this season. Jason Keller (No. 57 Albertsons Ford) also earned his first pole of the season last week, making him the 11th different Bud Pole Award winner... Parker Jr.'s win also was a career first in the NASCAR Busch Series for Dodge, which joined the series this season... Thirty drivers have recorded at least one top-five finish this season... Mark Green's (No. 38 Great Clips Ford) first career start came at IRP in 1995. He finished 18t... . Last week's NASCAR Busch Series event at Pikes Peak International Raceway drew a crowd of 40,000, the largest to witness any type of race at the venue.
