I have a feeling he's gonna be paying NASCAR a little bit of moolah for that slip of the tongue.

A.J. scraped the wall in final practice, caution comes out and SPEED goes to commercial. They come back and show a very angry A.J. Allmendinger standing beside his car and then he shouts the f word, very loudly. SPEED cameras captured the whole thing.

I guess we're going to find out how serious NASCAR is about letting drivers show emotion now.

I thought the networks were to have some sort of delay built into their broadcast for that sort of thing? Sounds to me like more of a network error rather than Allmendinger's problem or was he actually being interviewed at the time?

It wasn't an interview, and I'm not even sure it was live. You know how SPEED has some SPEED graphic they use when they go from showing a replay to showing live coverage? They ran that graphic right after AJ's slip of the tongue and showed the cars stopped on pit road.

But you're right, it looked to me like it's SPEED's problem.

I hope not. Its not AJs fault speed has cameras all over the place.

I'd say it was SPEED's fault. If they can't catch those things, esp. on a replay, they're really slipping.
