A little sore

Still a little sore from a wreck I had Sunday night at the races. I was racing wheel to wheel with a guy for three laps for second place. He beat me going into turn three but slid up high. I drove underneath him. Coming out of turn 4 the guy got loose and slid in front of me. My right front hopped his left rear and sent me head first into the wall. I do not know if I was knocked out but I do know that I was pretty shooken up. I went to see the doc Monday Mourning and he gave me some pretty good pills. Trouble is, I can not take them before i go to work.

 Ouch! Hope you get to feeling better, racerx. That sux about the med's, but I can understand. ;)

I already feel much better compared to yesterday. Yesterday, I didn't have enough strength to get on the computer. Only reason I didn't get into the ambulance at the track was a mocho thing. As for now, I can not wait until Sunday to have another crack at it.

Glad your ok! How was the truck? Is it raceable again? or will you have to find a new vehicale?

My uncle had a very bad crash years ago

If you know Anderson Speedway ( from TV maybe) they have the pits on the outside of the track and then opening on the out side wal of turn 3 and 4 for the entry and exit of the track. It was similar to your wreck but instead of hitting the wall head on he hit the end of the pit exit and ripped that car apart. I think all he ened up with was a broken wrist and thumb. It took him a few weeks to get back to racing but he did. ( we had a weekend race car party where we built a new car for him to race, since he wa sin a championship fight, which he ened up losing)

The truck is pretty tore up, but the frame looks OK. Have to rebuild everything in front of the shock towers and go over all the welds. Bent up all the pullies and the steering box. Good thing one of our sponsers is a salvage yard.

Glad to here you're Ok. The truck can always be fixed. I can tell you're a racer, still hurting, but wanted back in the truck for the next race. Buckle up tight and have a great race.

Sounds like a nasty wreck, glad your okay Racerx11.
