Mid week drivers evaluation thread

Who will be the next first time Sprint Cup champion?

-Greg Biffle
-Martin Truex Jr
-Dale Earnhardt Jr
-Denny Hamlin
-Kevin Harvick
-Carl Edwards
-Ryan Newman
-Kyle Busch
-Brad Keselowski
-Kasey Kahne
-Clint Bowyer

Try to pick a best choice, and at least two more strong candidates. At least 3 mid tier picks, and at least 3 absolutely nots.

Who's going to be the next driver to become one of the elites? It is subjective but for a criteria which one of these will move up to winning two races in a season while making the chase.

-Truax
-Joey Lagano
-Paul Menard
-Aric Almirola
-Marcos Ambrose
-Regan Smith
-Allmendinger
-Montoya
-Brian Vickers

Again try to pick three strong, three middle tier candidates, and three absolutely nots.

Among the drivers with A CUP championship who will another one, and who will never win one again

-Kenseth
-Johnson
-Stewart
-Gordon
-Kurt Busch

Try to pick two strong choices, and two absolutely nots.

Great...homework! J/K :)

Next 1st time champ?

1.Hamlin
2. Edwards
3. Busch

Become "elite"

Truex Jr.

Never win another cup?

Busch

I see no reason why the other 4 options wont win another cup.

Who will be the next first time Sprint Cup champion?

-Brad Keselowski, and he'll break Carl's heart doing it. Maybe Jr or Biffle.

Kyle, Kahne and Carl won't get it done.

-Truex - I almost said Logano, but realized they would kick me out of the asylum if I did. Maybe Allmendinger or Montoya.

NOT Vickers (duh), Almirola or Logano.

Tough one. I'll say JJ is most likely to win another, but they are all capable. Because he's starting over at his age, Kurt would be my most unlikely future champion.

You guys should know better than to go picking on the special kid. Don't make me mad!

;)

First time Champion
1. Denny Hamlin
2. Kyle Busch
3. Brad Kesolowski

Elites- not a whole lot of choices there!
1. Aric Almirola- the Mike Ford hire should help him.
2. Regan Smith- Can't believe he ain't with a better team.

Who will win another CUP
1. Tony Stewart
2. Jimmie Johnson

Who will NOT...
1. Jeff Gordon
2. Kurt Busch

I like where you're going, TGP! I would change the order of the next to win their first:
1. Pee Wee
2. Kez
3. Hambone

I would put Truex in the elite category ahead of Aric or Smith

And I agree that Gordo and Dumbo will probably NOT win another crown. Kenseth probably fits in here too.

Good thread, Greg!
