Yeah, you have to look pretty hard to even see his face. Maybe your picture comes up better on your monitor, but it's not so great here. Anyway, cool that you were so close to Smoke to get that picture.

now that I can see it, he is looking at somebody or something for sure

When did he quit driving that car and go to the red 20 car? I thought he drove the red 20 all 2006

A lot of drivers will give that look. I still get it from drivers that don't know me or haven't seen me before.

cause they are getting focused to go out on the track i think every driver has that look before the roll out.

Sometimes hard to tell facial expressions with the hemlet on too lol

I don't want to pile on the stomp on Smoke train, but I heard disturbing stuff from a kid that tried to get his autograph at Manzy, JJ Yelly told the kid he'd get the autograph for him, but didn't really know why he'd want the signature of an azz hole. I didn't see it, and I wasn't standing there, but there was no reason for the kid to lie. kid was 21 so he'll live threw it. Duane

I have got to say that is a 1st for gitting that look. He was looking at me like that for pretty much while he was in line up. It looks like i am close to his car, but i am not, I just zoomed in.

Well, he could have been looking at anyone if that's the case. ;)

I've heard all really good things from people who have met Smoke. He's super nice. Maybe the kid wanted an autograph right in the middle of "something." Makes me wonder why J. J. would say that even if he thought it. I've seen them fooling around together at the track. Yeah, I know Smoke can have a temper, but he appreciates his fans. We all know how he feels about the media and what he's allowed to say and not. He's not real fond of people who just shove things in front of his face to sign w/o even saying hello or anything. Not saying it didn't happen, just that for every negative thing, I've heard a ton of great things about him.

My husband works with a guy who's a super Jeff fan and he went to some signing and couldn't even get close to him. The minute they saw a kid in a wheel chair, his "people" ran over and got the kid and put him in the car for a photo op. Jeff is still this guy's favorite driver even after this incident. He says he probably owns just about everything Jeff related. I think my husband said this guy even paid to be at this signing. I've heard stories on both sides concerning a lot of drivers. Unless I see something myself, eh... I'm giving them a break. ;)
