thought a new thread was overdue.

what constitutes a violation of probation for each: driver, owner, crew chief?

has nascar found anyone in violation of probation in the past? if so, what was the subsequent penalty?

anyone find any links with such a story?

Depends on the driver and the action.

That is so subjective of a question I doubt Helton could answer it honestly.

LOL!!! No apology from Childress...

He said in a statement that he accepts the penalty, but he did not apologize for his actions.

obviously i still have a problem with kyle rubbing childress' truck on the cool down lap.

i used to enforce rules. and to me that is a blatant violation of probation. he was put on probation for what happened after the race at darington. wouldn't you think a person on probation ought not repeat the behavior that got them there?

Smoke14: mike helton would not answer any question directly. bottom line is nascar's enforcement is so inconsistant as to be absurd.

jmo. again:D

yep, i'm pretty sure he feels that taking his frustration out on busch was worth every penny of it. he's probably right too. he won't miss the $150k and being on probation means what? not doing it again? roger nascar, no problemo. <g>

Good for RC.:beerbang: Thats old school right there, screw all that pc crap these days where everyone has to say "I'm sorry" in some meaningless statement to the media.

Right on. If I'm Kevin Harvick, and I don't like the way someone is racing me in my next NSC, NNS, or NCWTS race, I'm gonna let them know about it after the race on the cool down lap.
And NASCAR better not say jack about it.

Have they ever?
