I have rediscovered a simple joy of my youth. A peanut butter and honey sandwich on toasted wheat bread. It is even better with pretzels on the side.

Do you have anything like that?

As a kid, I loved a PB & honey sammich. I haven't had one in at least a decade, gotta have an ice cold glass of milk with it.
I like a grilled cheese with peanut butter, too. Not processed cheese though, something like colby jack & peanut butter on grilled sheepherder's bread.

My grandfather showed me a real sweet treat that I loved. Mix peanut butter with syrup to get a nice creamy mixture and spread it on crackers or right off the spoon. Now and then when the wife isn't looking, I still mix up a small bowl full.

Buck, I used to do that with biscuits....my family always mixed butter with syrup and then one day I tried peanut butter. It was awesome.

I usually mix some honey in my oatmeal in the mornings to give it a little taste, its really good too.
