A smart ass and full of himself

Nice interview! :D
Seems like every weekend this kid writes his name in the record book again. Like him or not, he's well on his way to being one of the best ever in the sport. NASCAR, as a sport, needs the controversy. Brad is good in a Nationwide car but hasn't really figured out the Cup car.

Last few laps he thought he had a tire going down. He slowed down quite a bit, and by doing so did not have to pass Brad again. Funny thing .Why take the chance?

arrogant punk

Rather have an arrogant punk that yet another bland, boring, heard it a billion times interview from the faceless bunch of drivers out there.

"yea, he drove a great race..blah blah blah..." :yawn

That is a great point.:beerbang:No matter what anyone thinks about the move to win, you gotta love the guy for his persona.I want more characters too.Someone should give Robbie Gordon a decent ride, he might provide some more fire.

How can you not like Kyle and his attitude? "Who? Yea, I don't know who your talking about." That made me crack up when they asked about Kes. If it weren't for guys like him I wouldn't even watch nascar. I'd love to see Stewart get back to form and have problems with Kyle, that would be entertainment.

robby is driving for the only owner that will put up with him. not that he doesn't have talent, he's just too hard-headed to listen to anyone else. <g> he has had chances. he's also getting a bit long in the tooth for the *modern* nascar driver.

I liked what Brad had to say during the driver introduction better. "Kyle Busch is an Ass"

I'm not a Kyle Busch fan, but I would defend him because he is talented, he is a racer and not a robot and is worth a very good soundbite. You have to admit that some of the baiting questions asked him are redundant and irrelevant.

Robbie Gordon has several chances and blew it

I wasn't commenting on his driving ability,I was commenting on his mouth.

I have like many said that Kyle is good for the sport. He is a very talented driver and arrogant punk and makes post race interviews worth watching. I do not pull for Kyle, but I say keep on winning and keep up the Rivalry with Kez. Just don't break anymore trophies in Victory lane.

As many have said, Kyle is good for the sport. Every good "story" needs a villian. However, I do not dis like him. I think we need more guys like Kyle who will speak their mind and not back down.

he is good there is no doubt in my mind.

but let's talk about greatness when he has 5 or 6 championships under his belt

I don't consider someone to be a great driver or not based on how many championships they have. To me Mark Martin is one of the best, but he has no championship.

Yup. You couldn't hear it on TV but I'm sure the crowd went nuts when JPM punted the 48 :beerbang:

Trust me, the crowd went nuts. There were people all over the place jumping up and down and dancing in the aisles. I am not so sure JPM punted him though, it looked like JJ never got him cleared. I have yet to watch the tape.

Yeah, Juan did the same thing Kez did, held his line. Difference is, Jimmy knew he screwed up, whereas Kyle was dealt an injustice.:sarcasm:

Well, I just watched parts of the race. There was a subtle difference between these two incidences. Kyle was in front of Brad when Brad hit his back bumper. JJ clipped the front fender of JPM's car while sliding up the track.

Kyle heard "clear" and slid in front of Brad. I heard it on the scanner. I did not listen to JJ's channel

My Dad was right, location, location, location....

Yeah, but Martin has class!

Something the little punk hasn't learned to develop.

Mark Martin was an alcoholic and a bit of a womanizer in his younger days. Nothing really classy about that. Mark Martin didn't quit drinking until he was 29 years old. Mark has class now because he has made changes in his life to make himself a better person.
I'm sure a lot of us were brash and classless when we were younger. I know I sure was. That goes away with maturity and experience.
Give the kid a chance, he's only 25 years old.

I don't have to give him a chance. I don't suffer fools and obnoxious people very well.

Kyle is old enough to act like an adult. You might find his antics amusing or chalk it up to be young. I don't buy it.

Sorry if you suffered from the same lack of class when you were young. I had plenty of fun when i was young but I was always respectful of others and tried to act responsible.

What many here have said is true............. Kyle relishes his type of behavior but I find him to be a colossal bore.

Kyle (and I) can only hope to turn out as perfect as you.

You are bad about making assumptions about those you know nothing about.

Never said I was perfect.

I just didn't act like a fool when I was that age.

Well I would rather see a driver show emotion instead of the standard Mark interview, " we really had a fast car and it was great and it's just an honor to drive for these guys and I'm just so honored and I just can't thank these guys enough". No matter if he wins or gets wrecked, that will be his interview.

One thing's for sure, Kyle knows how to play the villan role. He does it real well -- Kyle plays the crowd like Charlie Daniels plays a fiddle.

No, he didn't have him completely cleared. I watched it too. Brad had a run on the top side when Kyle attempted his slidejob. Which is why Kyles right front hit the wall first. Physics 101. Watch it again.... Either way, Brad was in the wrong for racing the brat.

MoMike

I don't watch racing for the interviews. If some think that childish petulance is good for the sport, okay. I consider it a major turnoff.

his spotter told him "clear" so he did the slide job. I doubt he would of done that if he did'nt say that.

So, since you know Kyle well enough to know all that, then it's safe to say he took out the frustration he had with his spotter feeding him bad information on BK?
Sounds to me like either way you slice it ,KB is a dirtbag, with lots of growing up to do.

Sounds like Kyle could cure cancer in children and some folks still wouldn't like him.

Curing cancer is a bit of a stretch from smashing a beautiful trophy or standing on the roof of your car and taunting the fans that paid to see you race.
