A touching tribute for a 5 year old fan.

Thank You Joey and the NASCAR community, you will never know the total impact you made on this kids family.

Logano and fellow drivers Matt DiBenedetto, Ryan Ellis and JJ Yeley were among those who answered the call, along with crew members from teams like Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing and Richard Petty Motorsports(some of whom served as pallbearers).

I guess others were to busy.

Yes, maybe they were too busy. Maybe they had prior commitments. Who knows, maybe they were at other funerals. I know Bubba Wallace was at his grandmother's bedside.

Some people responded to a request. That doesn't make the rest subject to condemnation. I toss 98% of the charitable request I receive straight in the trash unopened because there's just too darn many of them for me to deal with. Who knows how many a public figure gets? Everybody can't respond to everything.

^ So negative.

A nice gesture by those who responded to the appeal. I'm sure the family is grateful.
This ^^

I think your reading something not intended in my post. I wasn't condemning anyone, I don't even know the logistics of those people.

Logano seems like a really good guy. I remember at Daytona last summer he actually came up in the stands to meet the fans who were waiting it out late at night. It showed me that he genuinely appreciates fans, and isn't too good (or afraid) to mix with average people.

Big Respect for Logano and all involved. Lots of good people in Nascar. I would proudly match the class of Nascar drivers up to any other group of athletes in the world.

I admire and respect your honesty.
