Three Local Sisters Die In Fiery Limo Crash
McFadden Faces Murder Charges

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Three Davie County sister on their way home from a Fleetwood Mac concert died in a fiery explosion on Interstate 40 near Vanstory Street in Greensboro Wednesday night.
Police said the sisters' limo was hit by a drunken driver speeding in a pickup truck, and the limo burst into flames. The limo driver was able to escape, but the sisters were trapped inside, according to investigators.
Officials said 16-year-old Megan Howell, a cheerleader at Davie High School was killed along with her sisters 24-year-old Mysti Poplin and 29-year-old Tara Parker. Parker is a former Miss Winston Cup and the wife of Sean Parker, crew chief for NASCAR driver Dale Jarrett.
Police charged the driver of the pickup, Jeffrey McFadden with three counts of second-degree murder and driving while impaired. He is being held in Guilford County Jail with a $300,000 bond
