who cares if the guy/girl can drive but em' in a car

Now, my interpretation of some of this:

1. People do not like Kurt Busch.
2. People fear Kurt Busch. I base this on the 5% who want him to win versus the 30% who think he will win.
3. People like Mark Martin, but not his chances.
4. People like Dale Junior, but not his chances.
5. More people like Junior than any opf the other chasers. (duh)
6. People don't like Jimmie Johnson, but respect his ability.
7. People prefer the new points system.
8. 27.6% would agree with anything Dale Junior said.
9. People prefer Darlington to Mexico City.
10. Alcohol advertising isn't nearly as big a deal as NASCAR said it would be.

Now bear in mind...these are poll responants from ESPN.com. NOT what I'd call a racing oriented site, but still sports fans. So any generalities drawn from it, good or bad, need to bear that fact in mind. So in that spirit...

*90.7% of fans do NOT want more races.
*41.3% want FEWER races.

Sound like the number two spectator sport in America to you?

Sound like a sport fickle Californians are going to support long haul?

Sound like an overwhelming vote of support from sports fans to you?

Sometimes our vision gets clouded. We hang out at racing sites. These things mean more to us than the average sports fan, the average racing fan, or the average person.

Just some things to gnaw on...Possum out!

fickle californians? My family is from california. My dad has been a die hard race fan his whole life. I just think to make such an accusation is a little ludicrous. There are fickle people everywhere, please don't earmark an entire state based on a few fickle fans. There are fickle fans everywhere.

At the same time, I think you are right about Kurt Busch, people don't like him and respect his driving ability. I don't think they fear him. I don't fear him...but what exactly are people of afraid of when it comes to Kurt Busch? Is it that he can "back it up" on the track? Or that he is consistantly good? Why are these things fear worthy? Maybe they aren't afraid of him, but (like you already stated) just don't like him.

Hilarious...but true.

I also think there should be less races throughout the year. Not so much because I don't enjoy them, but I'd like to see the guys have more free time. And we could always get rid of one of the Pocono races, I mean, I like the place, but two races in like 2 months there? C'mon.

Wher in that pole did it ask what state you are from?

That's just an assumption on your part.
For my part I'm going to ASSUME that They're all from NC. Now one of the things I learned in school when you assume you make an A$$ out of U & ME

That's why it clearly says MY INTERPRETATION. Read, THEN type. Not really difficult, people do it all the time...

And for the record, I ain't from NC.
