Well, the IRL stars at the Milwaukee Mile this weekend. There are 27 cars on the grid. That is a lot of cars for this mile track. Should be an interesting race.

Qualifications are later today.

To my suprise, Graham Rahal had the fastest practice time at Milwaukee. He had a speed of 166.560. Scott Dixon was 2nd quickest with a speed of 166.110.

Danica Patrick was 17th quickest with a speed of 162.053.

Ryan Briscoe shoved a concrete block down her throat, adding 50 pounds to her body mass. :D

Well, qualifications are over. Kudos to Marco for winning the pole. He just collected a check for $50,000!

Marty Roth did not qualify due to a wreck in practice. Vitor Meira will start in last position due to a crash on his qualifying attempt. Im really suprised at how well the former ChampCar drivers did. Good job.

It could of been a better run for Danica. She isnt getting the speed out of her car so far.

Not at this time. John is scheduled for the next 2 races... Milwaukee and Texas.

Race should start soon on ABC.
It should be interesting to see all those cars on this 'little' track!

I have one word to say about this race: yawn.

Open wheel racing will never be as exciting as NASCAR.

Briscoe wins this sleeper for Penske racing. Marco Andretti made another stupid dive-bomb pass on another car to cause a wreck at the end  I think Daddy and Grandpa need to have a sit down talk with him!

personally enjoyed the race. I always love Indy races. Was it the best and most exciting, no but it was still fun to watch.

It was overall a clean race except the end when Marco and Ed carpenter got into it which sent Vitor flying over Marco's car. Good thing no one was hurt. Vitor didnt have a good weekend this weekend.

I am really impressed with Oriol Servia. I look for him to do well the rest of this season and next. I also think EJ Viso is doing quite good. He is learning the ovals pretty darn good.

Yes, Graham Rahal crashed again by getting into the marbles. It's a rookie mistake but Im sure his dad has strongly emphasized now about it. He had a fast car all weekend.

Kudos to Ryan Briscoe for winning the race. Luckily for him, there was a yellow because I dont think he could of held Scott Dixon off for the remainder of the race. Scott was closing fast!

Unfortunately for Danica, she just didnt have a fast car this weekend. After starting 13th and getting a lap down in the race, she still finished a respectable 9th spot and she gained a spot in the points race. There is always this weekend in Texas where Im sure she will shine.

I will agree, Danica's car may not have been real fast, but I may have seen something different, being there in person. I would estimate that the poor pit stops lost her 5 spots. The last pit, the crew actually dropped her car at least 2 times before tires were able to be removed!!! (3 I think!)
