About dang time

I join racing-forums! Extremely excited to be apart of the community here, seems like a good group of folk' around here. I stumbled upon this place during speed weeks this year and I've been lurking ever since.

A little about me. I grew up and still live in Michigan. The first flag to flag race I ever watched with was the 1998 Daytona 500 with my dad as a younger kid. He was always a Senior fan, and I remember him and I looking for a driver to root for, man that Interstate Batteries car used to be sharp. I was a big Bobby Labonte fan as a kid. I'd say around the 2004-2005 season (definitely after Winston had gone in '03) I just naturally started liking and following Harvick. Next thing you know I have 29 hats and shirts crowding up the closet lol. Anyways enough about me.

Lets get some more short tracks back on the schedule. Man, I was looking at some of the Winston Cup schedules from the early and mid 90's, phew, I'd do anything to get a schedule like that back!

2014 season can't come soon enough. Interested to see what off-season changes NASCAR decides to make with the cars.

Welcome to our little gathering twenty nine ,(or maybe you'l be changing that to four ) :D . No that's not enough about you , keep it coming . It's a lot easier to understand where folks are getting their opinions ,when you know a bit of their history . Just my thoughts . Anyway ....welcome ,any fan of Bobby and Kevin is great with me.
 
Welcome two- niner, You'll love this place. Remember this is not your run of the mill message board, ignore the ones you want, like the posts you want, Always state your opinion, don't bother with facts, and you'll do just fine. LOL

Maybe TwentyNine is sporting a 29 tat of some sort and really has no choice in the matter. I mean it was't like Jr's move from the 8 to the 88. I that instance there were options. The 29 to the 4? I'm just sayin. ;)

So are you gonna buy new 4 gear, or go old-school and continue wearing your 29 stuff?

I remember seeing Bill Elliott #9 shirts and hats at the track for years after he left Melling.
