I join racing-forums! Extremely excited to be apart of the community here, seems like a good group of folk' around here. I stumbled upon this place during speed weeks this year and I've been lurking ever since.
A little about me. I grew up and still live in Michigan. The first flag to flag race I ever watched with was the 1998 Daytona 500 with my dad as a younger kid. He was always a Senior fan, and I remember him and I looking for a driver to root for, man that Interstate Batteries car used to be sharp. I was a big Bobby Labonte fan as a kid. I'd say around the 2004-2005 season (definitely after Winston had gone in '03) I just naturally started liking and following Harvick. Next thing you know I have 29 hats and shirts crowding up the closet lol. Anyways enough about me.
Lets get some more short tracks back on the schedule. Man, I was looking at some of the Winston Cup schedules from the early and mid 90's, phew, I'd do anything to get a schedule like that back!
2014 season can't come soon enough. Interested to see what off-season changes NASCAR decides to make with the cars.
