EVERYONE needs to respect the passion we race fans have for our favorites and keep some thoughts off the forum.

First and foremost we are supposed to be RACE FANS.

Sure, I don't "love" every driver and will certainly not agree with every poster.
Just don't forget that hate is a bad word and sometimes "Silence Is Golden".

I leave for work in about 5 minutes Ironhead, so you get to have the last say on this one by default. Oh...and don't let the 'ironhead' thing confuse you---that's just a little pet name I have for everyone that comes along on here just for the sole reason to disrupt. It's not like anyones figured out thats who you are or anything......Or even really cares.

Why do you do this? What possible sort of silliness drives a man to get on here and post childish, pointed remarks and then call them 'strong opinions'? Just get's your rocks off ,huh? To pretend you are just a real maverick, a real free thinking man that see's thru the fog of deception that the rest of us are blinded by?

Give us a break junior. I felt that way when I was 10 or 12. And we both know you are a little older than that, now don't we?

You asked a totally silly question to kat when you know completely well what she meant. Maybe you anti-Bush folks see honor in leaning on 60 year old ladies,hell, I dont know,I'm not a political man. But those kind of snips---that uncanny ability of yours to let your mouth write checks your ass can't cash is what keeps you off of here. And BTW, I never said much to you before. Always found you kinda to be an amusing little maverick wannabe. But that was before.

Now I just think you hide somewhere behind a keyboard and send out little smart remarks because you fancy yourself to be clever and cute.

Well news-flash hoss: you aint. Feel a little shame about your silly behavior and find a little manhood about yourself. Quit this little tirade or get the hell off. You don't even anger us on here, not really. We just shake our heads and wonder if your opinion of yourself is really that high.

You ain't a bad guy somewhere inside dude. Straighten up man. It's a silly little 'see if I can pester the forum folks' game you play.Geez. It's old and it's boring. Time to give it a break.

Moparh, I just got sick of the stupid, uninformed, thoughtless posts of some members and jumped up on my soapbox to express MY opinion instead of andwering the posts they make. If a poster doesn't agree with my thoughts and opinions, that's fine, and if they do, it's usually in a respctful manner. I am learning the hard way NOT to respond to those I find offensive, not from an age or favorite perspective, just because I will no longer be bothered. Point/counterpoint is one thing, but some stuff just isn't worth my time. Kat
 
Having read other posts and some of the responses, I think there are more who NEED to reign it in.
None of us want this forum to deteriorate into a disrespectful, trashy forum like others I have known.
There are forums where ANYTHING goes, and I'm sure they would be happy to welcome the venom some spew.

Hey man you're taking the question way too seriously,I just like expressing my opinion whether people agree or disagree with it and I really don't see the point in playing tiddlywinks with my opinions. Earnhardt didn't tip toe thru the tulips much when wanted to voice his opinion,and neither do I. That's all I wanna know. I don't see the point in slamming me for an honest question,but from all the thinskin I have seen so far I shouldn't be surprised.

I dont tiptoe much either friend. You were provocative by deliberation. I know, I used to be too. The same way but to a lesser degree and not about politics.

The skin around here isnt really thin at any rate. We know how you react around the edges. Always just about likable---but still you cant quite contain your biting remarks.


But thats ok----I cant really bring myself to be angry at you because you are just a game player. Try to relax and dont take YOURSELF to seriously. Because I am pretty sure no one else here does old buddy. ;)

By the way friend----I have you pegged a lot more than you think! Guess I might have a little surprise for you ? You would be right. ;)

If you want to be taken serious here, then why don't you try being serious. When you start posting stuff with a huge chip on your shoulder, then you aren't going to be taken very seriously. Like I have told you before, act like an adult and you will be treated as an adult.
 
RESPECT--one word that's not in Beorge Gush's volcabulary---but then again neither was it Old Ironhead's forte either!

I wish I knew who we are all talking about........posts read very familiar but all the references to former handles are not. Must have happened during my hiatus. :)
 
Nothing changes.............I could have sworn it was someone else!! Trolls are all the same........despite their contention that they are independent "free thinkers"!! :D
 
If this is the same one we think it is. He spent about 2 or 3 months in the corner and didn't learn anything. :rolleyes:
 
Please note that I NEVER named any names, and the whole point of this thread was just to remind posters not to be trolls or overreact.

can i throw in my .02
there are some thinskinned folks here. trust me i know, i have been deleated before. however i enjoy this board and if i want to interact i have had to learn how to tone down my response. So Gushhead if you want to play you have to live by the mods rules.

Well sais de7, and I for one can tell that you have maybe bit your tongue at times around here to keep from saying something you knew was outside the rules of the board and I appreciate it.
