Didja ever notice how every official photo of it always has the same face turned toward the camera?

Supposedly it has all the tracks on it, but all the official images I've seen are always of the side with Pocono, Daytona, and Watkins Glen visible (among others). A quick Google search returned only images from that angle. The trackside photo of Martin and Sherry that DPK posted is from that angle too. Even the embroidered trophy on the new Truex championship jacket shows it this way.

Just something that caught my eye.

The other side had Kyle's name engraved on it just in case and we all know how that played out.

Am I the only one who thinks the Monster Cup is ugly af? I know it's supposed to be all the tracks on there, but to me it looks like a 3-year old's drawing.

I remember reading a while back that some of the track layouts were incorrect on the Cup. Watkins Glen is the only one I remember from the story (it was the IndyCar layout that was used), but I believe that there were 2 or 3 others that were incorrect. That could be another reason why we only see one side of it.

A NASCAR Champions Trophy - The Forbidden Side!

Much like the dark side of the Moon, NASCAR fans may never see the backside of their crowned champion's trophy. Word has been circulating in the NASCAR Community that the other side of the trophy has not been photographed, displayed or otherwise viewed. It was just rumor at first but the newly crowned champion, Martin Truex Jr., confirmed in a press conference today stating, 'The mistakes are so glaring and hideous that NASCAR had me sign an agreement that I'd agree to prevent that backside of the trophy from ever being photographed or viewed at risk losing my rightful place in the HoF.'

No, I'm with ya as I think they tried to do too much with it.

As a result, it's butt ugly.

Well, that's clearly 'The Boot' in upper left of the photo 24Ever posted above. The upper right looks like it may be the open wheel version of Sonoma.

Huh. Who'd guess I was actually on to something?
