Terrible news. I didn't watch any of the more popular shows Michelle Trachtenberg was in, like Buffy and Gossip Girl. I knew her as a little girl, on Pete & Pete on Nickelodeon. She played Nona F. Mecklenberg, Pete and Pete's neighbor. I just looked the whole cast up the other day to see how old they all are and what they look like now. Michelle was my age.

Pete & Pete wasn't my absolute favorite Nickelodeon live action show - Salute Your Shorts and Clarissa Explains It All were tied for that spot - but as a Nickelodeon kid, I always watched Pete & Pete whenever it would come on and have fond memories of it. This photo of Little Pete and Nona...this is my childhood right here.

Thank you for the memories and for entertaining me as a little kid. Rest easy, Michelle.
