Well...

My time has come here.

I have neither the time nor the energy nor the desire to continue running this site. All the drama a few months back and seeing good friends go away really took all the fun out of it.

But most importantly it was becoming too much of a financial burden to continue.

But that's not to say the site is going to be shut down, I've given the site to a long time friend who is going to make sure it stays around. Sam is a great guy and I'm confident he will keep the place in tip top shape.

So with that, I'm gone. Thanks for the good times folks, you rule.
 
Good Luck Paul, I was wondering where you have been. Someone said you were working real hard right now. Thanks for all that you did for us here. Check in with us ever-once-in-awhile.
 
can't say enough how glad I was that you IMed me that day to tell me about this site. Been here 1.25 years and enjoyed everyones opinions all around, especially pauls. As everything comes, it goes. Mabey you will stop in every once in a while. But I guess all Evil Dictators eventually come to and end, heh. and no paul, you rule.
 
Paul, I didn't really get a chance to know you, since I haven't been posting here that long. But you did a really good job on this forum and it's the best one I've posted at. It's a pleasure to be a member of this forum. Thanks.

SO sorry to see you go Paul! I hope like the others that you do come back and just say high everyonce in awhile! Thanks for the invite to this wonderful place and helping me make more racing freinds. Hope you realize that you made alot of freinds here (and enemys too :D ) But no matter what happened everyone had fun postign here at one point in time. Thanks for your wonderful time

Also thanks for handing it over to Sam ( who ever that is) and not shutting us down! Hope to cya around!

Sorry to see you go! We have definitely had some great "conversations", and I will certainly miss having more! Please don't work yourself too hard, you have to enjoy life as well. It was certainly a pleasure "knowing" you! :cheers: Hope to see you around. ;)
 
Wow, I hate to see you go Paul! Please stop by from time to time. You will be missed thats for sure! Take care of you. I hope that your friend Sam does a great job of running this place and keeping us hoodlums in line like you did! Best of luck to you!
 
I haven’t posted here very long but long enough to know you have done a wonderful job with this forum and I’m sure it’s not going to be the same without you, as I for one have enjoyed reading each of your posts. I hope all goes well in life and all you do, take care of yourself mate!

As a fellow webmaster (with an active forum), I know first hand all that is involved in running a place such as this. Building it up, trying to keep as many people happy as possible, not to mention the hosting and expense side. Something many members of forums do not understand or know. (places like this don't run themselves and cost $$$.)

You have done a great job and should be proud of your accomplishments. As mentioned in a PM sent to you, I would hope that you would pop in from time to time and participate in discussions. Perhaps lend a helping hand to the new owner when needed. (Promise, I won't bug you.)

Regardless, thank you for your efforts, contributions, and laughs my friend.
 
I'm definetly going to miss those "heated" discussions .... didn't get to know you too well , but you are ok in my book! GO RED SOX! Keep the faith! cya dude!

I have been a member of this forum for quite sometime. I read alot of the postings but made very few replies. Been following this NASCAR stuff since the early sixties. Paul worked very hard to start this forum and to keep it going for such a long stretch. I want to congratulate him on doing what he did especially since he was self taught.

The early days were long and difficult but he worked at tweeking the problems and only made the whole deal better for everyone to participate. You members were fortunate because Paul made sure that the riff-raff were quickly eliminated and the forum was able to conduct itself with dignaty.

I know Paul will be forever thinking of this forum.

Oh! I didn't mention this, I'M Pauls father.

You certainly have a wonderful son, freestyleperdue! We were all very fortunate to have "met" your son, albeit in cyberspace. He certainly made quite a few friends here and he will certainly be missed. We hope that you will pass on the message that we wish he would at least stop in occasionally to keep us up on how he is doing? :)
 
Think I'm just gonna drink a 12 pack of "shut the hell up."

Well I would have missed this topic if not for the email I received and it would have saddened me not to have a chance to wish you well Paul.

We certainly had our share of misunderstandings but I like to think there was mutual respect.

May you find peace and joy and the occasional debate!
