I remember Tiger saying somting on the line of, Bring it on you silver beasts!
lol, I don't think he wanted them to come that much. Yeah the Shuei bros certainly had a rough day. First time since 99 ferrari hasn't been on the poduim, thats crazy. The Hondas stayed together, the ferraris did not One thing tough, usre put a twist to start off the season.
hehee...yes I must learn to keep my incouragements to my own team!!
BTW I'm female
Was just simply an AMAZING race!! Of course it's always going to be better when you're actually there! hehee.
I have some piccies, not many of the F1 cars though, as the bloody fench once again was too high! pefft.
They were lucky to have a dry track! I was having sooo much fun watching the celebraty race and V8 supercar race in the wet, even saw Dean Canto in a V8 car go off on the warm up lap it was THAT slippery, so the F1 guys were very lucky!
Minardi I think surprised everyone with the qual more of NOT posting a qual time, there for they were able to work all night on the car set up and the tank could have any level on fuel in it. When we realised what they had done we thought Kimi maybe should have thought of doing the same as he wasn't going to post a good qual time anyway due to what happened the day before, so he would have been in a perfect position with full tank, but at the end of the day 3rd is still a fantastic way to start!
Was great, as an Australian, this year to see more and more Webber fans and Jag flags in support for our Aussie driver although it was a shame the Jag couldn't get him to the finish line.
Loved all the passing!!! Great move by kimi, shame about the speeding in pit lane! As for Montoya, this is exactly what I mean when I say he doesn't understand F1 yet....he doesn't know how to keep a good thing goin' by not over driving the car etc... So glad to see DC win at the end of the day, even as a Ferrari fan.
Like I said some where else... no matter how many millions a team puts into a car, driver, race luck still comes into it and both Ferrari drivers didn't have luck. For Barry to make a silly mistake and for Michaels car to fall apart from hitting a kerb...pefft! oh well...that's motor sport!
Paul dear, don't count your chickens before they hatch...McLaren 1 & 2...would you like to put money on that? Personally I was more surprised at the pace of BAR and Jag
over the whole weekend.
I'll get some piccies up as soon as I can!
Sorry to the guys I think this is the first year I didn't take some pics of the pit babes (for my mates, not like that!)...i think the cold weather scared them away...
