Great news.

NASCAR's Air Titan track drying system, which made its debut this season, will be available for use at every Sprint Cup Series stop in 2014.

The announcement was made today in conjunction with the release of the 2014 Sprint Cup Series schedule.

"Having the Air Titan at each NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend allows us to meet a very important goal set by our Chairman and CEO, Brian France," said Steve O'Donnell, senior vice president of racing operations, "to drastically decrease track drying time to the best of our ability and ensure our fans in the stands and those watching on TV get to see each race run on its scheduled day."

Another case of Nascar pandering to silly fans . It will cost hundreds of thousands and not stop it from raining on race days . Might speed up going back to green by 10 or 15 minutes , but someone will have to pay for it .

finally..took them long enough to get up to 100%, hard to find a sponsor probably. Glad Andy chipped in for three 1.5 mile races. NASCAR SUCKS and THEIR RUINING NASCAR, and NASCAR RACING IS BORING will look good on the side.

Brian France's got billions of dollars.

Are they going to force all the tracks to pay for something they don't want?

how can it cost that much? how many gallons of fuel does that thing use a hour?

"Like just about anything, cost has been a factor in the limited use. Tracks are responsible for running the pricey Air Titan, everything from transporting the system to paying for the drivers. Tracks had already set their budgets for 2013 well before Air Titan's debut and decided not to make extra room.

Plus, tracks need to give NASCAR two weeks' notice if they want the Titan, meaning they could pay for something they'd never use. Pocono Raceway had the Air Titan in the bullpen for its June race, but it sat idle.

Tharp said the cost of the Air Titan is now no more than $50,000 for a weekend."
