Alan Kulwicki

I caught it from the hauler leaving the track. It was a difficult day for me. I was a big fan of his. The Last race in Atlanta in 92 was a win-win situation for me. I didn't care if Kulwicki or Elliott won that day. His number will live in my user name till I leave the net.

I'm sorry I misseed it, becauce I was a big fan and will always miss him.

I was at Atlanta that day. Not only did Kulwicki win his Championship but it was Richard Petty's last race and Jeff Gordon's first Cup race. Sortof a changing of the guard for me.

it was a great tribute. i always think of alan when i see the #7 just as the #28 always reminds me of davey allison.

Hey you forgot to mention the Awesome One won the race.

People will always remember that Alan won the title that year, but they will never be reminded of why. Yes, the fact that Alan was smarter than Junior Johnson is the real reason, but in the end, who cares? I was never a fan of Mr. K, and have always held a grudge against Jr. Johnson for making the call that he did which cost Bill the title. The only thing I can say is that it was probably fate that gave the title to Alan and probably wisely because of his untilmely death. But then again, might we have been able to say the same for Davey Allison? Wouldn't you love to hear what Elliott has to say about all this?

Does anyone remember what Bill Elliott presented Alan with at the Awards Banquet?
