Albert Pujols signs with the Angels for $250 mil

Albert Pujols just signed a 10 year contract for $250 million with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. They then turned around and signed the biggest pitcher on the free agent market as well in C.J. Wilson for 5 years for $77 million.

This is a problem for me. I really like Albert Pujols, but I absolutely can not stand the Angels. The signing of Wilson is a relief for me though as a Rangers fan. He just doesn't perform well in the playoffs, and has been a really weak link in the Rangers in the postseason.

wow, where did the angels come from? i didn't even know they were in negotiations with him. i thought he would re-sign with the cardinals. good for him though if he got $25 M. Hopefully, a large portion guaranteed. that's $50 M more than the marlins and cardinals were offering him.
