Was working on the 4cly and testing a fuel pump, It shorted out in the fuel and burst out in flames. I went looking for an extinguisher i forgot where they all were at, dad found one but it would not work, so i finaly remember there was one on the tool cart. so we finaly got the fire put out. But the new cellin in the building got messed up. well 4 big sheets.
We got lucky that when the cup and pump landed it did not roll much more because we have a 54 gal drum of 110oct racing gas. (about 1/2 full). Plus to one end of the shop we have a lot more gas and chemicals. so we dodged a buillt there.
But i am glad it happaned this way, and not in my racecar.
