One car that isn't a Chevy in the top 12? I thought the bodies were equal?

Donno...but I'm sure if Ford, Dodge or Pontiac say anything about it it will be considered whining. But man, there sure seems to be something unfair going on. Almost like the powers that be want a certain driver to win.

Nah, that's just crazy to think...there's no evidence of that in today's qualifying.

4 dodges though

Wait until the race though I gaurentee, there will be atleast 3 fords in the top 10.

HEY Kyle mad eit into the top 10 . YAHOOO!!!!!!
I was surprised to see all the chevys do good and all the Pontaics do bad. They are the same cat just with a diffrent grill, and headlight decals

I wasn't too surprised the pontiacs didn't do well. But I am like you surprised at where Kyle qualified.

Was very good to see Kyle do well, nice to see some of the weight lifted from his shoulders.

RCR and DEI should not suprise you. They were touched by the greatest plate racer of all time. I don't understand why Hendricks and Rousch cars didn't run better though. It is all for nothing if you don't run good in the 125's though.

Congrats to Green and his team. Chevy will be the best car in the 500 yet again....

And some Chevy's in the back are gonna be fast.

This is weird, having a driver I really like in Chevy, it's almost like cheering for Darth Vader.

I feel the same way. I think that this year wont have many surprises though things have been pretty predictoble so far. Not that its a bad thing drivers that are good are supposed to be good so its nothing surprising.
I hope I made sense.

yea poor ford, the guy with the most poles last year drove a ford, and didnt ford win the most races??

Im a dodge fan myself but Im sick of hearing the chevy whineing game, it seems jr isnt the only person to concentrate more on a type of track that is only raced 4 times a year.

Parity apparently doesnt apply at Daytona anymore.Ever since Earnhardt finally won there a few years ago, this once proud track has went straight to hell. I dont even blame the restictor plates anymore-----this race is a commercial now.The Earnhardt died here factor is going to give the Childress/Earnhardt 6 car team the advantage for several more years at least...

I say skip the commercial and watch the Rockingham race. That is where the real season starts anyway.

Daytona = -_- !

I know what you mean.

People, people, people. This race is just like every other race. It ain't where you start, it's where you finish. Junior, Green, Mikey, Robby...all are notorious for choking. Oh, Junior and Mikey have the engines to beat...we all knew THAT last November. But ya gotta make it 500 miles. And I'll go on record right here, right now and say it:

Junior

ain't

gonna

make

it

.

Nobody ever accused the boy of being overly smart with a good race car, ya know.

I agree everyone is getting all excited here, lets see what comes race day. Better yet lets see what happens in the 125s, i think there will be some surprises. I do think the 15 and the 8 will be strong , but i don't think either will win, my pick is Sterling the man is focused and on a mission.

I can't wait for the TWINS. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. With the way the packs work, who knows how the chevy vs. ford vs. dodge play out. You just have to be in the right place at the right time with the right help.

Like Newman behind Jr on Sat night.

I disagree on Sterling, the Dodge that will be on a tear I think will be Ryan Newman.

Darth Vader Rocks, Luke was a wussie.

Shouldn't be a big surprise. RAD lead by DEL = fast on plate tracks. I'm real curious about how things will shake out elsewhere.

And one last thought: NO CONCESSIONS!!!! For anybody at any track. Let's see who came up with the best nose and tail sections across the board.
