Not any different than the attention Gordon or Earnhardt got during their heyday. In fact, I would argue that Gordon and Earnhardt were crammed down our throats worse back then than Jimmie is being crammed down our throats now.

He is an hour from 6 championships. A historic moment in NASCAR. It is their jobs to report what is going on in the race and the world of NASCAR. They are doing their job perfectly, like anyone else would with their own line of employment. Never heard anyone complain about the cable guy getting employee of the year 6 times in 8 years.
