Mark Martin who blew an engine and has to start last in the race anyway spun his car after making a pitstop during his qualifing laps.

He wrecked in 4 before he took the green flag to qualify...

He was going to be in the Nextel Open anyway.

Aric Almirola was going to be in it too but they elected to not run the Open at all after he spun out.

Just like Mark didn't complete his 3 laps after he spun out coming out of the pits. He was in but since they had changed an engine he was going to be starting last anyway.

Don't count Mark out of it...

Hendrick horsepower and Mark Martin at Charlotte. Tht sounds like a "ruh roh" for the competition.
