All-Star Race

My friend and I have a disagreement as to why people would want to watch the All-Star race. She's saying people either watch the race because of the million dollar prize or because it's just one winner and it doesn't count towards points. I disagree, I'm saying people watch because the drivers race harder, it's more exciting. Whether that's because of the prize or not, who cares? You watch it because you want a great show right?

What do you all think? Let's hear it.

I watch it because there are no points and the drivers don't have to be careful and they can race lots harder. I love that they are bringing back the 10 lap shootout.

I watch it because I'd watch any Nascar race that was on. I just love to watch racing.

I don't watch it on TV because I am always there. Kellogg's used to go with me but she hasn't been in awhile.

I like it because it's flat out bells:D to the wall racing.

It's a feather in the drivers cap, winning the All Star isn't the same as winning the Daytona 500 or Indy 400 but it ranks up there.

No points, and they all want to win. And the fact that they usually use one-off cars, so damage is not really a concern.
