Bestwick grew up in Coventry RI. He called the races at Seekonk when he was just a kid in high school, his dad was a racer there.
His grandparents had a place near us, he fell out of a boat when he was 7-8 years old. My youngest, now my only brother, aka "the fish" pulled his butt out of the water. The "fish" was only a year or two older then him at the time. Wonder if I can get tickets,,,,hmmmm
