One more day folks.I've been a little quite the last few days, just gathering my thoughts. How has everyone been?

Today has been busy, busy, busy. I am trying to get about three projects plus my regular work done today. It really sux having to work this hard, but I am hoping to get out of here a little early tomorrow. Will be leaving a little early today too, as my son has his first freshman football game today and it starts at 5pm!

Glad to be back you guys.Where is the fourth member of this little quartet?DEE?Hurry up or we have to let the 'all new now with a sense of humor' Whizzer partner up with Maj on her Vampire raids......... :p :p

Hope you're doing well, 97.....
Thanks Fergy...they moved the Ten Commandments monument here at home. You been following that?Pretty big locally.

Yeah, its been on our local news, as well as the national news and our local papers. I was really hoping they might set a precedent down there...

Just heard the Gov. of Mississippi said that he would display the monument in his capital building. Looks like this is really picking up some steam......

You know, we God fearing, patriotic, peace loving people are always getting this crap shoved up our...as.....noses about being the politically correct thing to do. Always worried about the other people, what if they don't belive in this, or don't like that. Who cares? Why make me sacrifice worrying about if I have offended someone else, whether it be religion, sexuality, race, or anything else for that matter. Don't push it on me and we can get along.

Well, I cant say much except that the Government needs to do what the will of majority wants, and that is to keep the monument.

Yeah,I agree.Drop the heavy handed BS and most folks will be reasonable. This is the most important thing about the whole issue in my opinion:

REGARDLESS of if it(the monument)is what your religion teaches or not,REGARDLESS if you are some flake or fairy:

The ten commandments are still a damned good set of rules to live by.A person could do a lot worse.

Just another line of BS forced on us all.Sadly enough Bama was probably the worst place possible to have this little shoot-out.Too many folks here are just to 'image sensitive' and haunted by 'George Wallace at the University' to stand for much of anything anymore.Out west the monument may have stayed put....but not down here in the new and too sensitive 'heart of Dixie'.(which is no longer visible on our car tags Fergy---unless you have telescopic vision.)

Very true Happy.Unfortunately from 'reconstruction' to the 'civil rights movement' the people of the South Eastern United States have to dance to a different tune in order to appease whatever special interest groups are the flavor of the week.A sad and tragic damned shame.People forget that down here the war of northern aggression didnt end until the Confederate Battle flag was removed from the Capital Building a few short years ago.Now that Dixie has no 'soul',we are nothing but an experimental liberal training ground.

Bet they don't teach you THAT in school do they?

It still goes on my friend. Last week in the Washington Post, they had an article about the tax plan the Gov. is trying to implement in 'Bama. They couldn't even make it past the first paragraoh before that had to mention the KKK.....

We live in one messed up world. What ever happend to people minding their own business. Its almost like people complain about things just to see a group get flustered about losing it. As for the goverment, they never make the right decision in my mind. Whats sad is I will be voting for one of these corrupted yahoo's next year.

There are groups like the ACLU and other groups for the separation of state and church that say putting up that monument is a form of political intolerance, pretty ironic saying that those very same groups cant tolerate religion, compassionate conservatism and other things like that.

There those radical-liberals go again. I'm pretty sure this will become one of the pinnacle campaign issues for 2004.
