Alright y'all

Some of you might know Smack and I have a running gun battle on the forums.........politics, NASCAR, and just about everything else. But, what most of y'all don't know is that we actually like each other. Smack has invited me to a little online wager just for the fun of it. The way he outlined it in pm's is that we pick a driver to finish higher than the other's driver........you know, like Smack picks Jeff Gordon and I pick Jr. Jr places higher than Jeff than I win!! But the other side is that if Jeff finishes higher than Jr, I lose. The reward is simple...........the "winner" gets to pick the "loser's" avatar for the week!! :EEEEK: This is a weekly thing.........I think Also, at my suggestion, we are going to make this a public thing.......again just for the fun of!!

Smack, jump in here and clarify anything I did not include. And I'm working on my driver now.............I also have the avatar all picked out for ya buddy!!!

Actually, I think the only way this will work is that it's one on one!! I can see the avatars I will have for the remaining of the season!!

What DE said pretty much sums it up. It will go until the end of the season, but the driver we pick for this first week will be our picks throughout the entire season. WHich as of right now, I have jeff Gordon, and he has Dale JR.

Also no offence to other people who want to play, but I dont think this would work well for more then 2 people. However if you would like to get together with someone else and do this, ofcourse you can. (EX. Maybe lap3 & EMP)

The way I always bet races, one guy picked somebody, the other picked two drivers, and then the first guy picked his other one. Highest finisher of the 4 drivers wins. But I'm cool with whatever.

Keep it simple like Smack and I!! That way everyone can see "cheating". Jeff finsihes higher than Jr come Chicagoland and I get a new avatar (Smack's choice). But, if Jr finishes higher than Jeff..........watch out Smack!!

All in good fun.......y'all can hoot and harass all y'all want but I'm not taking it personal. And I know Smack well enough to know he won't either.

i like the idea where we pick one driver, but the way you do it sounds cool!......so it really dont bother me one way or another....guess we could flip a coin to see how we do it...:lol: but whatever you like best,

Oh, trust me...I can do better than just a blue oval for your avatar. MUCH better...

Then I assume we will meet here weekly to select our drivers. As we are using my old tried and true format, I will give you the option of selecting first and fourth or second and third this week. Thereafter, winner gets to pick when they select. Sound fair enough?

OK Lappy, I have carefully researched the history of several drivers, studied the trends of car owners, and cross referenced qualifying versus race performance for this track, and finally flipped a coin.

I'll take Jeff Gordon and heads...I mean Kurt Busch.
