I'm sure when we were first told they were going to redo LVMS to make the racing better, they said they were going to use the variable banking system like Homestead has.
That sure isn't a variable banked track that they raced on last night, and in order to get as steap a bank as they have for the whole track they lost 18' width of the racing surface. HTH is that supposed to increase the ability for side to side racing when you make the track narrower?
IMHO, I was NOT impressed with the redoing of the track, (According to drivers is VERY bumpy) and sure as heck doesn't offer the great side by side racing as was spouted off for the reason for redoing this track. I think they may just have really screwed this track up.
