I think it's more a case of look who all the competition is. It's not exactly the top cadre of racers. And, yeah I see Tony there but he's in a new make so there will be a learning curve. And, yeah Harvick's at the bottom but he's about the only mystery.
I mean when you're racing against Ragan, McClure, Smith and Barrett shouldn't you be faster than them...

Did you conveniently forget........
Denny Hamlin
Jeff Burton
Kasey Kahne
Ryan Newman
Jamie McMurray
Bobby Labonte

Give Jr some credit, he is near the top of the testers. And, his speed is right up there with last week testers.

Actually no. Denny is in a new make as well so I figured peeps would draw that conclusion when I mentioned Tony. My bad.
Burton in the back with Harvick. Could that point to a problem with RCR?
As to Kahne, Newman and McMurray, isn't that a case of what have you done for me lately and do you really expect them to turn around a questionable year in the 1st race?
Labonte is still with Petty, right? That answers that.

I'm not dissing Lil'E but neither am I annointing him the Chosen One because of these times. I'm going to factor in who else is on the track and then look if there is an explanation other than he's the best wheel man in the business.
