Welcome to the compete-forums Friend! Díganos please a small one about same you.

You using mexico or spain dialect?

You need to check your tenses and your translation is much simplified.

Aprendí español sobre un tres período de año mientras en la Preparatoria y yo fui graduado en 1961. Mi maestro era de España, y yo he visitado Madrid. Hay muchos dialectos en recorrer de español de Castillian a clásico a variaciones en cada español que habla el país, como hay las variaciones en el idioma inglés.

I'm using http://dictionary.reference.com/translate/text.html , not translating myself (i dont pay much attention in spanish, plus its only Spanish 1).

There are many dialectos in crossing of Spanish of Castillian to classic to variations in each Spanish who speaks the country, since there are the variations in the English language.

We're learning the spain dialect, because our teacher says learning the mexico dialect is useless since its easier to go from spain spanish to say Argentina spanish then from mexico spanish to Argentina spanish.

Not quite. What I said was I learned Spanish over a 3 year period while in High School and I was graduated in 1961.My teacher was from Spain, and I have visited Madrid. There are many different dialects in the Spanish language, including Castillian and different dialects are common in every spanish speaking country, as there are in any English speaking country."
