An endless revolving door at RYR

if they could just keep a crew together, they might be able to get something accomplished. It is very obvious they have talent behind the wheel. Of course, the drivers are the only thing that hasn't changed. I remember when I first started watching racing I was always afraid when Sadler would get around anyone, but now I'm not...he has improved quite a bit. If they gave their crews the same window of time they've given sadler, they might see some turnaround.

And......

AND Robert Yates Racing GM Eddie D'Hondt told Sirius Satellite Radio's "Sirius Speedway" that Todd Parrott is no longer with RYR. D'Hondt said, "It was a very diffcult decision to make, and it was made with a heavy heart, but we can't be sitting on our hands. We need to get both cars in the Chase next season, and to do tht, some changes had to be made." D'Hondt said new crewchiefs "Slugger" Labbe and Tommy Baldwin are already on the job, and that the team has a full testing schedule between now and the end of the year.

And II.....

heard that many of the engineering staff was released in this reorganization.

Well my take on his is just look at the past 3 seasons at RYR, they sucked! So when that happens you have to start from the ground up and make a lot of changes. Probably will take another year before they are really competitive.

Let's see, even though I'm a big Kahne fan, I haven't seen a team with Baldwin as CC reach the Chase yet. Hmmmm, other than Mayfield, ol' Slugger hasn't developed a champ either. Some have said that Slugger is responsible for Michael Waltrips success, but to that I say... Success?

Yeh i kind of question the moves too, but who else is out there for crew chiefs?
