An interesting possibility

For those of you fortunate enough to be headed to Bristol for the race, here's something to think about.

I know for a fact that Bill Elliott tested a dirt car at Volunteer Speedway earlier this spring. Volunteer is about an hour from Bristol, and claims to be the world's fastest dirt track. I am a regular there, and can personally attest that they do indeed haul the mail. And I know for a fact that they run at Bristol next Saturday. And I know for a fact that Volunteer is running a special race on Tuesday the 20th. And I know from one of the track officials at Volunteer that Bill was all smiles and stated that he would be back sometime. Could we see Awesome Bill at Volunteer on the 20th? THAT would be a hoot. Anyone that wants info on the track either let me know or do the link thang below.

I'll be heading down to Bristol for the race, getting there Thursday the 22, and I'm staying w/ my folks in Bristol, VA. That sounds like a cool race though. Wish I was more into racing when I lived there.
