And once again

Great run by Steve Park, his best this season, and no interview. What the hell is wrong with these guys? :bs:

I was thinking the same thing. They interviewed Mikey who finished 8th, but not Steve.

Do you reckon they think his name is Rodney Dangerfield? "I don't get no respect."

If time was a problem I would understand.......but they had almost 20 mins to kill with interviews after the race because of no cautions. Good point!!:(

I noticed Steve was running at the front at the end. Great run for him, to bad he didn't get his interview.

This is always like NBC, I don't think any of us should be surprised anymore. We moan about it every week, but I agree they should have given Steve an interview, he finally got a great finish.

They didn't pay any attention to park the whole race. There coverage sucks. I WANT DW!!!!!

Mikey got interviewed because of getting pinched by busch and because of the jack incident.

yeah, but that is two good runs in 3 weeks and no interview. I would think Pennzoil would have something to say about that.

Why should they interview Park?

Should they interview everyone in the top 10?

well for a guy who almost lost his life, almost lost his ride, lost his crew chief, and finished sixth at talladega, sounds like a good story to me. They over twenty minutes to interview. Besides, they never even mentioned him during the race. Why not interview the top ten when you have time, thats what I want to see instead of commercials. I have always wanted to see a longer post race show, interview all fourty three drivers.:p

I would sure like hearing from the top ten every week, but I do understand time constraints. It just seems a little unfair to me that when Steve has a good run, he doesn't get noticed. It seemed like a perfect "feel good" story for the network.

I bet his sponser would have liked him to be interviewed also. But don't expect a logical answer why he wasn't.There just isn't one to be found.;)

The problem is that a 30 decond interview with Steve Park takes three and a half minutes.

Is it suddenly cold in here or did somebody just toss me in the refrigerator?

Are you trying to say it would take Steve an hour, and a half to watch sixty minutes?:D

I dont really care about the coverage, just as long as its on TV when I cant be at the track is all I care about. Only thing I hate about it is the amount of commercials they have.... its unreal.

I will agree with that, we all ought to be glad that its not on pay-per-view. that would suck.

If it was on that, the PPV theft rate would go up by the day.

Well yer the one that seemed to want a logical answer, and that's the best I can do.

Geesh, Jay Sauter's smack against the wall on lap 34? wasn't mentioned till the race was dern near over. Only time I even saw the Realtree logo was on the warm-up lap. Seems to me that close to 35 other drivers didn't get interviewed either.

TV is pretty boy and winner territory. Steve Park is neither. Sheryl Crowe got more airtime than anybody.

Hold on Bowtie better watch what you say. You will give those money grubbers on tv an idea.

Actually, Steve Park is a lot prettier than Sheryl Crowe.

:p

Pretty sick of that chick. Is she, like, the official pop singer of NASCAR now, or just Jr's personal...ahem...assistant?

Jay Sauter's smack against the wall on lap 34?

Thought I was alone in noticing that. I looked up-saw Jay listed as out.....what happened?

As for Sheryl Crow...she is getting a lot of air time for using JR in a video. Smart move on someone's part.

And Steve not pretty? Depends on who you ask. And the crack about how long it takes him to answer a question was uncalled for. Steve has made many appearances and is always articulate if a little slow. But it is not a serious handicap.

Mikey is always good television. What was with that long face and feel sorry for me attitude? Man his behavior is more like a 5 year old than an adult. He raced well, finished just fine.

I have known many folks over the years with speech impediments, and many folks who have suffered serious brain malfunction due to blunt force trauma. Slowness of speech is reality. I have physical disabillities myself. Laughter is indeed the best medicine.

In a 30 second sound bite world, Steve simply doesn't fit.

Humm....do I detect a little bit of jealousy in the voice of Booja?:uhmnotsur

I love Steve to pieces, but he does tend to ramble. Even before his wreck, he could take long time answering questions.

abooja, I think Sheryl Crowe is the singer of the moment with NASCAR. Someone else will come along pretty soon. And, Steve is much nicer to look at. ;)

That's what she looks like now, after the plastic surgery.

Steve is a guy. He's supposed to look rugged.

He's not my type, but you can't say he isn't rugged looking. I think most women would probably find him attractive.

As for Sheryl, I never had anything against her until she starting elbowing her way into NASCAR. She does look great for a woman her age, but I'm sure she wouldn't look that good if she were slinging hash for a living and didn't have stylists and makeup artists and hairdressers at her beck and call every moment of the day.

Dont forget her puss[face]has been modified by a plastic sawbones also.I say she is a 6 packer.:D

And that's different from Jr's perfume ads  how?

In all likelihood...

Jr. does not wear makeup.

Jr. does not have his hair professionally styled before races.

Jr. did not have plastic surgery.

Pop singers pretty much don't go anywhere looking awful, unless it's done deliberately. There's nothing wrong with that. I also don't have a real problem with women who choose to have plastic surgery. Just don't confuse that with natural beauty.

BTW, women wear perfume. Men wear cologne or aftershave. :)

You don't think Jr wears makeup and hair styling products when he poses for magazine ads or when he's in Crow's videos?

Hmm, ok.

Hmm, ok.

That's different than needing a stylist for every last public appearance. He's a guy. Guys generally don't require as much grooming as women.

BTW, I'm pretty sure most everyone in a magazine ad or a music video is wearing makeup of some kind.

I wonder if Cale was wearing makeup and hairgel for this pic for SCRM...

When was Cale ever in a music video?

I guess it's only cool if your favorite rock star does it...
