Larry Foyt finished 16th, ON THE LEAD LAP at Homestead. Miracles really do happen in NASCAR.

Didn't know he was in a Dodge this time. Hadn't really paid much attention to them for awhile since they have had so much trouble. Was this a one shot deal or have they run it before?

They've been running Dodges all year long.

They've been running Evernham engines all year as well.

This was the first time they ran an Evernham prepared chasis with Evernham prepared body.

Boy do I feel dumb. Hadn't even paid attention to what make he was driving.

Goat, all it means is that the driver means more to you than the brand. Nothing wrong with that!

I think it's a combination of the two, but the equipment has to be good to compete. You poor the essence of Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt combine into those #14 cars and they'd struggle to stay on the lead lap.

But I also think if you were to put Larry Foyt into the #12, he'd not win 8 races.
