My wife, once she started using it, loves it. The books read well, and it's better than a smart phone for web use (quite a bit bigger)
Of course right now, about the only thing she uses it for is books.

I got one for my daughter. She reads all the time and loves it. Better than a smart phone for web use but I believe it is only wifi capable. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I love short track racing (Taylor's Version)
Pros: Android based OS. Widest selection of books for an e-Reader and many of those books are free of charge. Very portable, very thin. Great for an e-reader, small tablet.
Cons: Small screen is hard to type on, slow processor and graphics are sub-par for any tablet, you have to use Amazon Cloud for file transfers.
It's worth it for the price. But if you have $100 more to spend, go with a Samsung tablet.

And yes, it's better for web browsing than an iPhone or iPad. Apple tablets, phones don't have flash so there are a great many websites that you can't load and have to download an iPhone app for.

Ok but the samsung is 4g correct which means more charges

You don't have to activate the 4G. They still work over WiFi. DON'T buy a tablet through AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. Check Amazon.com.
