Since I go to A LOT of races, I thought I'd post some updates on races I will be reporting at, LIVE, for RacingForTheWin.com and MIRDrag.com.
May 31st: Maryland International Raceway - Big Rig Nationals. I won't be reporting on this event, just getting out of Waldorf to get my other stuff done.
June 12th: Maryland International Raceway - President's Cup Nationals - Bunny Burkett "Hot Rodz" diner dedication ceremony.
June 13th: Qualifying for the IHRA President's Cup Nationals at MIR.
June 14th: Maryland International Raceway - President's Cup Nationals - Qualifying and the "Night of Fire."
June 15th: Maryland International Raceway - President's Cup Nationals - Eliminations and finals.
June 28th: Richmond Int'l Raceway - Suntrust Indy Challenge - 300 laps, 225 miles of side by side IndyCar short track racing at "The Action Track." This will be my first IndyCar Series event.
As soon as I get more, I'll post them up. I'm going to try to get to an ARCA race and a sports car race at New Jersey Motorsports Park later this year. Plus, I would love to take my sports car around NJMP for a lap or 2.
My articles usually go up on either www.mirdrag.com or www.racingforthewin.com. I've got two stories coming out later this week, one about the old Aquasco Speedway and another with an interview with one of the most popular drivers in the ARCA Re/Max Series.
