Heard an interesting twist to the wing on the COT. As you know, the maximum angle is 16 degrees and at Bristol, most of the teams used that angle. However, the wing appears to be "twistable" and more than one team had 16 degrees on the left side, but twisted the wing to be only 14 degrees on the right side. Supposedly, NASCAR looked at that and said they'd never thought about that and they would take a look to see if they want to make any changes.

They might very well be rewarded...with a fine, points reduction or suspension. Unfortunately it could depend on the who more than the what or the why.

Oh well in that case they probably didn't know the difference between 14 degrees and 16 degrees. They thought it was the same...

Another friend of mine mentioned that when he raced r/c cars, they learned to twist the wing for better handling. He suggested that the idea probably came from a crew member who had raced r/c in the past.
