Crew member suspended for substance abuse

NASCAR officials have indefinitely suspended Craftsman Truck Series crew member Derek Lusk for violation of the sanctioning body's substance abuse policy.

Lusk, a crew member for the No. 25 Woodard Racing Dodge, was tested for banned substances on Nov. 10, the day of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway. NASCAR said the test results were positive, violating the sport's substance abuse policy.

I just can't imagine throwing away a career for a "high".

might have been steroids if that's on the banned substances list. crew members are in competition to be the best also.

From the team:
Woodard Racing is a professional organization, and Derek has been suspended from performing any duties on behalf of Woodard Racing until he is reinstated by NASCAR," team owner Rick Woodard said. "We will not tolerate any employee who chooses to violate one of the company's non-negotiable guidelines, and we support NASCAR 100 percent in their decision. We look forward to putting this negative attention of our team behind us and concentrate on the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

This doesn't sound like steroids.

Hey, if it wasn't for drugs, i couldn't of gotten a wife. Now the problem is to keep her high so she doesn't realize what she's done.
