•Crew Member Suspended: Gary Frost, a crew member for the #31 Richard Childress Racing team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body's substance abuse policy. On May 23, Frost was found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 19 (violation of the NASCAR substance abuse policy) of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rule book.(NASCAR)(5-24-2011)
 
I don't understand how they think they can get by with it.
 
All I know is that this is a dangerous sport and I wouldn't want anyone that is possibly impaired around me. I don't know why these guys can't grasp the concept of zero tolerance.
 
They call it "dope" for a reason.

It couldn't be said any better than that. I can't figure out why, when you know that you are subject to drug testing that you'd take the risk. I'd think that common sense would prevail. Guess not.
 
Non-drivers get tested? For what? :confused:....hopefully it wasn't for smoking a joint in his off time.

They need to be clean, they can cause as much damage as a driver, and they could get themselves killed if they're judgsements off.
