I did considerable research on serial killers in college. It has always been a topic that fascinated me. I am by no means an FBI profiler, but I think I know a little bit about the type of personality that would do what this person is doing. One thing I will bet on: He won't be caught, he'll be killed. He is in this for the duration. He'll slip up somewhere, may already have and it just ain't been discovered. When he is confronted, he'll go out with gun blazing. He will not stop until then.
The one profiler type person I have seen interviewed hi it pretty close I think: White male, age 20s to early 30s, lives alone, works at a menial (or at least what he considers menial) job, no military background but more likely a frustrated military wanna be, intelligent, unassuming. I'd be surprised if most of that isn't correct.
