Another Waltrip employee gets indefinite suspension
Only a few days after one of his employees, David Hyder, got his indefinite suspension overturned and credentials returned, NASCAR indefinitely suspended another Michael Waltrip Racing employee.
Douglas Mercier who drives the hauler for the No. 00 Camry was suspended indefinitely from the sport Wednesday for an unauthorized duplication of a NASCAR annual credential. He was also fined $5,000.
The rule infraction occurred May 18 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
