I have never attended a race at Pocono. Thinking of heading out on Sunday. Any advice would be appreciated as regards to best views along the front stretch, parking advice, etc.

I used to go to Dover races and enjoyed sitting in between turns 1&2 but obviously there are no seats like that in Pocono.

Thanks in advance.

Something for you to check on, they did not allow pass outs and most of the souvenir trailers were inside the gate. Hopefully this changed.

Sit as high as you can. At this point you can honestly buy the cheap seats and just move up once the race starts. I like sitting down by turn 1 because you really get a sense of the speed and drafting as they head down the main straight. For a 2.5 mile track the sightlines are honesty pretty good so long as you sit high enough and avoid being in front of the victory circle tower.

Traffic is cake anymore imo. If you get their super early you'll be be a little deeper so it will take a little longer to get out. I arrive about an hour before the green flag (live 45 minutes away, been going for years) so I'm usually among the last 100 or so cars parked. By hustling back after the checker waves literally pull right out.

We might have sat near each other at Dover. I was in section SS/216 from 1992 through the 2010 event.

Thank you. This is what I was hoping for posting to this forum. You guys/gals are great.

Agree with buying cheapest ticket
