I've been on AOL before it went "unlimited" but decided to look into Walmart Connect after a member on my forums mentioned them. I did not even know this service existed.
Well, I got a little curious and downloaded the software from Walmart.com and joined the free trial period. (Same dialup numbers)
Basically, this is AOL but ran through Compuserve which is owned by AOL the last I knew from what I can tell.
If you don't use the AOL chat rooms or "my hometown" features, everything else is pretty much the same. Seven screen names/email accounts. All for $9.94 per month unlimited access. That's about a $14 per month savings.
Here's a pic of the welcome screen.
