If you see a new, very weird looking truck running around, don't panic. It's just the result of my new job. It leaves here Tuesday for a Friday delivery to NYFD.

The rear axle is LARGE with planetaries on the end. It takes 2 people to move the third member, preferably 3. Or a cherry picker worked. The entire axle requires a forklift to move.

I'm about an hour an a half outside the cessp...er..city. What is that made to tow?
It's on of FDNY's new urban assault vehicles I believe. Designed to replace the hummer H1. 12,000 pound custom front Dana 80 axle, 14,000 pound dana 130 rear axle.

Urban assault vehicle? I guess they plan to mount a Howitzer on the back, because those are some big load axles.
