Any radio guys? LVMS frequency issue

Good morning all, last year when I went to LVMS I was using my dual band radio (
Wouxun KG-UV6X Dual Band VHF/UHF 200 Channel Handheld Commercial Radio) and had an issue with a local hotel being on the channel I was listening to (Harvick). Is there a sub channel that I should have plugged into to eliminate the hotel??

All teams have alternate frequencies they switch to in these cases. They're out there on the web someplace, but I confess to lacking the motivation to look them up right now.
