Any "The Unit" watchers?

If you watch The Unit, let's talk. What an ending to tonight's episode. I love this show and never thought I would because of the format, but though it's quite different than the usual drama shows, it's addictive.
 
Can you say................OOPS!?!?!?!!!!!

Did you see the previews for next week's show???? Five will become Four. :(
 
I was wondering about that...five becomes four. The previews make you think it's one certain guy, but they always mislead you in these cases. With Tiffy and Mack splitting, then Tom meeting up with Tiffy again, and since Tom's wife is now out of the scene, and then with Hector seemingly in a new relationship...well, it's all a soap story line there, but as for the Unit, the web says that Jonas and Hector work fevorishly to opperate on Charles to save his live and then lose their most devastating loss, it all boils down to one thing and that is, is someone really going to die? :)

When this show first aired, I loved it for the military side of the show but thought that the family side would not work. However, it does add a lot to the show and gives a glimps into the lives of military families and with these guys being so super secret, it adds a bit more.

Oh, and think of what might happen if Hector tells Molly what he saw? :eek:
 
I used to watch the Unit but then my belly got in the way. I know its still down there tho. One must have faith...
 
As I suspected...Charles wasn't the one to die. And with Hector now out of the picture, he can't tell what he saw with Tiffy and Tom. Now, from the previews, will Jonas go back for revenge? Will Tiffy get her car back? Will the girls get sued? :confused:
 
I thought Tiffy got her car back after they beat down the tow truck guy. He won't sue. I think he buys into the tape being real and he doesn't want to lose his license.
I missed the previews but I don't see Jonas going back for revenge. I wonder if Hector (Demore Barnes) has another offer for a better role. As Hammerhead he was good but his character was lost behind Haysbert and Foley. Then with the drama between Martini and Brammel he just didn't stand a chance.
And, with Irby's injuries they can play that part any way they want. Hector and Charles are very replaceable parts and one would expect them to be at some point.

So you really are a Unit watcher. :) You are using names that I'm not all that familiar with with the exception of Haysbert. But I think I understand who you are talking about. It's interesting to note that they seemed to be developing a story line for Hector with his new girlfriend, and then knock him off. Knowing the history with CBS and their writers, I wasn't fooled that the charactor of Charles would be the one lost and that more or less left Hector as the one being disposed of. Still, it isn't beyond CBS to dispose of a charactor that is secondary, rather than thirdly, from the top charactors. Witness NCIS a couple of years ago, CSI Miami also. I hope the show isn't heading into that dreaded "message episode" type of a season, even though there is still more episodes to go before the season ends. And, could that "message" deal more with the wives rather than the soldiers?
 
I just hope it stays true to character and not allow politics to change the story lines. I was worried there for a while. I would like to see them develop other units so as to expand the characters and make it more life like. Where 1 unit is not responsible for everything. We had glimpses of other units in past episodes but it was fleeting.
