Anybody else here like Los Lonely Boys?

I just got their self-titled "Los Lonely Boys" CD and I like it a lot.

Their music is kind of hard to describe if you haven't heard it. About the best I can describe it is Santana meets Stevie Ray Vaughan meets some kind of smooth light rock/jazz kind of a thing. It is really strange, but very cool. About the only thing I'm not really crazy about is that they keep switching to spanish in the middle of their prodominantly english lyrics. It wouldn't bother me at all if I remembered more of the spanish I learned in school. ^_^ I get the occasional word, but mostly it is just smooth but unclear.

They are from Texas and it is 3 brothers of hispanic decent. They used to be called The Texican Brothers before they took up Los Lonely Boys.

I was just curious if anyone else likes them or has even heard of them.
 
I absolute love their song Heaven. And, yes they are from El Paso, Texas! I don't have their CD, but I have a CD that has Heaven on it. They are not only played on the Top 40/Rock-n-Roll stations but also the Country stations in my area. And, I will agree with your description of their genre' of music too! I can hear some Santana, Stevie Ray, and others in their music presentation! They are really good! :)
 
I liked that song (Heaven) so much I did a search on the internet to see who sings it. I went right to ebay and bought the CD without knowing really anything else about them but that that song was great. I popped in the CD as soon as it came in the mail and realized I had heard the song Hollywood somewhere before, but I can't figure out where. The rest of the CD is very good also. Maybe not as good as the song Heaven, but very good.
 
By the way Maj, thanks for not hanging me out to dry on this one. I was afraid everyone might say "Los Lonely WHO?!". ;)

I must say if they sound anything like Stevie Ray I give'em my vote. :)

They sound pretty good. You can see the videos on Yahoo Launch... Pretty good.
 
I love their song "Heaven" !!!

We like to get their CD sometime, I'm sure it is good.

Exactly Bucky. I haven't been in the mood for something heavy in a few weeks. They are hitting right where I am at right now.
