My wife and I just started watching Dexter when CBS started running it during the writers' strike. We are hooked. So much so, that we may actually sign up for Showtime when the new season starts so we can keep watching it if we have to.
It is definitely a strange premise having a serial killer who is also a police homicide forensics guy. It is well cast and well written. It cracks me up that only one of the homicide detectives gets a bad vibe from a guy who has killed dozens of people over the years. It's also a great premise that he only kills people who deserve it. Kind of a judge/jury/executioner thing he has going there.
We are so addicted that I just rented the rest of the first season on DVD from Blockbuster so we wouldn't have to wait for it to come one hour at a time on CBS.
Does anyone else in here watch it?
